It was my sister who first suggested I should be a personal trainer back in 2015. I was unsure of what I wanted to do but I knew I wanted to help people. So when she suggested I should become a personal trainer as “I was passionate about exercise and I was great with people”, something clicked.

I completed my fitness qualifications through the Australian Institute of Fitness, who have one of the highest testing and assessing levels in the industry. During this time I achieved a Master Trainer qualification and was privileged to be awarded Class Champion. In the first 6 months of my study I started working as a receptionist at Camperdown Fitness. At the end of the 6 months of study, I went on to complete my Diploma of Fitness. This was an intense 11 months of study and training as it was a very physical and practical based course. After 18 months of constant study, I graduated with a Certificate III and IV of Fitness, Advanced First Aid training, Master Trainer and Diploma of Fitness certifications.

Being a member of the Camperdown Fitness team for the past 2 years and getting to work behind the scenes at a successful gym, has seen me gain valuable insight into the fitness industry strengthening my development as a personal trainer.

Exercise is a powerful tool to promote not only positive physical changes but huge positive psychological benefits as well. I am passionate and excited about helping people with their fitness goals and their overall health and wellbeing.
